Highways and roads are an important part of public assets, allowing movement between communities. The roads infrastructure requires a proper procurement process. The research shows that prices presented in public bids are lower than those expected by contracting authorities. Public owners are restricted to the public bidding procedures, especially the provision to use low bid price in the Public Procurement Act.
Holmes County Dog Warden Building
The Board of Commissioners for Holmes County, Ohio (the “Owner” or the “County’) wishes to
use the services of a company experienced with the design-build delivery model for its proposed
Holmes County Dog Warden Building (the “Project”).
Berlin Community Park Pavilion
The Board of Township Trustees for Berlin Township are accepting bids for the Berlin
Community Park Pavilion. This project consists of constructing a 40’ X 80’ pavilion at the Berlin
Community Park. All bid documents must be obtained via Bid Express. The project will begin
advertising on May 2 nd , 2026, and bids can be submitted via Bid Express until May 18 th , 2026 at
10 AM. The estimate for this project is $218,790.
Odell Lake Area Sewer Project
The Board of Holmes County Commissioners, in coordination with the Holmes County Sewer District, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms for The Odell Lake Area Sanitary Sewer Project located in the Ripley/Washington Township area of Holmes County, Ohio.
